Randi Scott

Mon - Fri (10am-2pm)

A local musician once said, “Your vocation should be your vacation” those words continue to resonate with Scottsdale/Phoenix based radio personality, Randi Scott, whose passion has always been music, literature and writing.

With her charismatic personality, Randi’s radio career began as an Arizona State SUN DEVIL where she obtained her B.A. in broadcast journalism at the Walter Cronkite School of Broadcasting while working at the campus radio station as an on-air talent, program director, station manager and videographer.  Prior to her tenure at ASU, Randi studied broadcasting in high school and worked as a dj while covering campus sports.

Randi has interviewed several of her favorite musicians as a Capitol Records intern in the A&R division and she has ignited valley airwaves as an on-air talent since the 90s at KTAR, KUKQ, KWSS and KDKB.  Randi’s first concert was Bruce Springsteen’s “Tunnel of Love” tour which was the catalyst for attending rock shows.

Randi’s passion for writing led her to working as a gifted educator for over 12 years with Scottsdale Unified School District and Paradise Valley Unified School District, spokesmodel, and emcee for valley events.

Randi Scott has now made the transition to GETTIN THE LED OUT weekdays at 7pm right here on your classic rock station,100.7 KSLX, which makes perfect sense since the dynamics of Led Zeppelin create her ultimate listening experience.

Randi is a free spirit who resides in Scottsdale and spends her “free” time at the tennis court, on a spin bike, riding standup jetskis and horses, watching baseball, and catching up with sportscasters who continue to rock her world! Occasionally, you’ll find Randi reaching for the keys on her Steinway, skiing deer valley and running track but there is only so much time in the day and Randi has yet to discover how to add yet another 8 hours…who needs sleep, right?! Namaste.
